Pastor Larry Trice, Jr. is a third generation preacher known for his energy, passion and fervor. He is confident in the message God has given him and he boldly delivers it through preaching and music. He began his service to God and man at a young age,
serving as the Minister of Music at Pentecostal Outreach COGIC, now Tabernacle of David Church in Lansing, MI. In 2005, he was passed the baton to pastor the church, where he serves both the church and community in earnest, establishing a strong
reputation of integrity throughout the greater Lansing area and nation at large. Pastor Trice regularly hosts international fasts and shut-ins throughout the year both in person and online, where He prays for the nations and creates an atmosphere for corporate spiritual worship and praise. His vision has always been to empower God’s church, the community and families both spiritually and naturally. Through Tabernacle of David, he continues to invest in the LMTS Community Outreach Center, where hundreds of families a week are ministered to through food donations, mental health counseling, financial coaching and housing assistance.
A master storyteller, Pastor Trice is compelled to use his gifts to deliver a message of hope. While music has been a huge part of Larry’s local ministry, his heart for all people pushes him to leave the comfort of the church and tradition to wade into unfamiliar spaces in order to reach a diverse group of people to spread the Gospel. He debuted his album, Rhythm Man, in March of 2017, which began at #25 on the Billboard Gospel charts, and has two lead singles “If” and “God God” which were featured in the top 50 of the Billboard Gospel Radio charts. He has performed with some of the biggest artists in Gospel across US, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and South Africa. His music is streamed in over 20 countries. He continues to travel the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ by singing and preaching to a world in need of hope.
He married Lady Lene’a in 1988 and together, they have 3 children who serve alongside them in ministry.
