INTECESSORY PRAYER
“...For we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”—Romans 8:26
Intercession is not the same as prayers for ourselves, or for enlightenment, or for spiritual gifts, or for guidance, or any personal matter, or any glittering generality. Intercession is not just praying for someone else’s needs. Intercession is praying with the real hope and real intent that God will step in and act for the positive advancement of some specific other person (s) or other entity. It is trusting God to act, even if it’s not in the manner or timing we seek. God wants us to ask, even urgently! It is casting our weakness before God’s strength, and (at its best) having a bit of God’s passion burn in us.
Standing Before God…
Pleading and making requests on behalf of our Pastor, his vision for the Tabernacle of David Church and others.
Intervening and Interceding for the purpose of producing agreement; to make inroads or encroachment (on or upon the property or rights of another).
ARE YOU READY TO…
1. Set the atmosphere before each service at the Tabernacle of David, welcoming the Holy Spirit?
2. Engage, equip, and empower the saints of the Most High God to recognize the importance of “with one accord” intercession and prayer?
3. Take personal responsibility and an active position in achieving success by being specific in our communication with God?
Intercessors (also known as prayer warriors), have a great responsibility and are available around the clock with their spiritual eyes and ears attuned to what God is saying; always praying without ceasing—both in church and in their home.
Join us at the Tabernacle of David…
As we support the vision by standing in the gap through prayer and consecration!
